Palm Island Premium™ is a completely new grade of premium natural sea salt, developed by Hawaii Kai Corporation. No other specialty salt in the world compares to or competes with Palm Island Premium in its combination of taste, moisture, intriguing varietals, and price.
Unlike some specialty salts, which are mined from land deposits, Palm Island Premium™ begins with freshly harvested Pacific sea salt— no additives, nothing artificial. It is then heated to remove impurities, as are the salts of well-known brands such as Maldon, La Baleine, Halen Mon, Pacific Natural, Maine Salt, Borsari, Alaea Hawaiian, etc. But that’s the end of any similarity between Palm Island Gourmet and salts such as these.
This natural sea salt is blended with our exclusive, mineral-rich Ocean Essence™ to lock in natural flavors, electrolytes and trace minerals. This results in a very pure, balanced taste which is the signature of all of our Palm Island Premium varieties.
